Doctors of Sub-Regional Academy in Dang have started protests against Vice-chancellor Sangita Bhandari. The doctors staged a sit-in in front of the entrance on August 22 stating that the vice-chancellor created hurdles while checking the patients, threatened the doctors and caused them mental pressure by asking for clarification without any reason. 

The patients at the hospital are affected after all the doctors started protesting stalling the usual works. 

After Vice-Chancellor Bhandari fired Medical Officer Dr. Manoj Yadav, over 11 senior doctors started the protest. Doctor Yadav shared that the vice-chancellor frequently threatened doctors of firing them. According to the patients, Dr. Yadav is very popular is known as one of the best doctors in the district.
