An unidentified group torched a mini-truck in Ramechhap on Monday night.

The group torched the vehicle bearing plate number Ba 5 Kha 3744 on Monday night around 11:00 pm while it was parked at the house of the vehicle's driver Sandesh Karki in Manthali municipality-5 Surpani. The vehicle had completely burned when locals reached the site at 12:00 pm, informed the vehicle's owner Nabin Karki.

Karki is the chairperson of the Transport Service Committee. Police are investigating to find the identity and purpose of the arson on the vehicle
