Ilam/November 12, School teacher Devi Maya Ghimire of Kamal Devi Primary school of Chamaita VDC-2 has been arrested on November 11 on charge of carrying out anti-election activities. She was arrested along with her 5-year-old daughter at around 1 am from her home at Chamaita VDC-3 while sleeping. The investigation regarding the incident is underway, according to DSP Bhim Bahadur Rawal. Family of the arrestee claims that she is innocent and demanded her release. Husband of Kamala Devi, Pushpa Bhattarai is the district in-charge of CPN-M.
