Police on September 8 arrested 23-year-old Indian national Manish Nigam on the charge of abducting a 5-year-old girl. Manish, who is currently residing in Tillotama municipality-7, had abducted the child on the morning of September 7. The relatives of the victim had filed a complaint on September 7.

The abducted child was rescued from a jungle near the Rohini bridge which is a few kilometers away from her home. The victim underwent a medical examination in Bhim hospital on September 8.
