A person has been seriously injured in a sharp weapon khukuri attack in Dang. 30-year-old Prakash Thapa was critically injured in a Khukuri attack by 22-year-old Nim Bahadur Oli, a resident of Shantipur rural municipality-6.
According to District Police Spokesperson Binod Bikram Shah, Oli attacked Thapa with a khukuri during a dispute with Thapa at quarter to 10 pm on October 13. Thapa has sustained serious injuries in the head and right ear in the attack. Injured Thapa is undergoing treatment at Narsingh College in Nepalgunj after treatment at Rapti Regional Hospital, Tulsipur, according to the police.
Police have arrested the accused assailant.
