A Dalit family has demanded action against Lal Bahadur Budathoki, the ward head of Chaurjahari rural municipality-3, for publically humiliating and physically assaulting Govinda B.K, one of their family members. The family has demanded action against the perpetrator who threatened to kill the victim,  while demanding justice.

Speaking at the Reporter's Club in Kathmandu, Govinda said that he was verbally and physically assaulted in front of local leaders. He said that he was pressurized to reconcile in the village after making a complaint to the police.  "I came to Kathmandu for justice after I was threatened of death," he said. According to Govinda, Budhatoki is threating him through phone calls.
