Police arrested 21-year-old Dipesh Yadav of Kabilashi Municipality-8 in the charge of assaulting 27-year-old Jay Kumar Sah with Khukuri on November 2.
Dipesh, 20-year old Rakesh Yadav aka Pappu, and 23-year-old Ritesh Yadav got themselves in a fight with Jay for past grievances. The injured Jay Kumar was taken to District Hospital in Malanguwa, the police said.
Area Police Haripur arrested Dipesh with a Khukuri. The other perpetators, Ritesh and Rakesh, are on the run. The police have launched a manhunt to nab the absconding perpetators.
