Police have arrested Trilochan Adhikari, 55, of Prithvichok in Pokara sub-metropolis-9 and extended his remand on December 3 on charge of raping a 12-year-old girl. Adhikari contested the Constituent Assembly (CA) election from Shivasena Nepal in Kaski constituency 3. Family of the victim had filed a complaint at the District Police Office on November 16 saying that the accused raped her on November 6. Inspector Narhari Adhikari of the District Police Office said that a rape case was filed against Trilochan after arresting him on November 17. His remand was extended for second time on December 3. Medical check-up of the victim was conducted in the Western Regional Hospital.
