A group of youths assaulted a 17-year-old Mohammed Nausal Miya near Manmohan Polytechnic College.

On Thursday, 17-year-old Md. Nausal Mia was allegedly beaten without any reason. The boy was called by a group including neighbor Afzal Mia while he was washing his clothes at home.

According to the victim, Amsal Mia, Akbar Miya, and Sadir Miya were involved in the beating. The victim and his relatives filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Morang on Monday.

The victim's father, Alim Miya, demanded action against the assault. He claimed that the youths involved in the assault also threatened to kill.

Police said those who are involved in the abduction and torture will be arrested and prosecuted.

Morang's SP Biswa Adhikari has directed the victim to register a complaint.
