Milan BK of Shivaraj Municipality -5 had called for religious worship on November 16. However, pandits who were called for a religious ceremony deserted the home after they knew that they would be performing rituals in Dalit's home.  

Milan is a construction entrepreneur in the Kapilbastu. Engineers, overseers and other special guests were present during the ceremony.  This incident is a blow to my self-esteem, Milan said.  If an economically wealthy businessman like me has to face caste-based discrimination, we can imagine the discrimination the Dalit community might have to face in rural areas, he said.
