Bomb detonates amidst elections in Dang

An unidentified group detonated a bomb in Bahun Danda of Ghorahi Municipality-16 amidst the election in that area. The provincial election for the member of the provincial parliament from Dang-3(Kha) and the local level election for the ward head of Ghorahi Municipality-16 is being held there on November 30.
No damage has been recorded due to the explosion of the bomb, said Chief District Officer(CDO) Govinda Prasad Rijal. Police have not been able to identify the perpetrators and to discern their motivations for the attack.
