Unidentified group torches excavators

An unidentified group torched four excavators working in the construction of the Diktel-Chakhewabhangyang road section. The excavators were torched on Saturday in different places.
Two excavators have been completely destroyed from the fire while one was partially damaged.
The workers knew about the arson when the fuel tank of an excavator exploded between 12 am and 1 am. Police reached the incident site on Sunday morning.
According to DSP Bamdev Gautam, the police are searching for those involved in the incident. Four out of eight excavators being used in the construction site of Golden Good Sherpa Construction were torched.
It is unclear who is responsible for the arson. However, Chand cadres are suspected of torching the excavators because they had asked for donations, but the construction company hadn't given them any money.
