Ram Bahadur Dangi, the ward chairperson of Babai Rural Municipality-6 physically assaulted Ganesh Devkota and Suresh Khadka, the local cadres of Nepali Congress, on the night of November 26. 

The Chairperson Dangi publicly apologized for the incident in a joint meeting with the leaders of Nepal Communist Party(NCP) and the Nepali Congress held at Area Police Office Panchakule. He vowed not to repeat such incident again, said Tara Bahadur Karki, the district member of the Nepali Congress.
