A teacher at Civil Service Boarding School in Doti has assaulted a student. Mahesh Singh Mehta, a computer teacher at the school situated in Silgadhi Municipality-4 assaulted Alok Shahi, an 8th grader at the school.
Injured Shahi is receiving treatment at Shaileshwor Hospital. According to Ganesh Shahi, the victim's father, Alok accidentally hit the teacher on the head with a piece of paper while throwing it in the bin. He added that the teacher then beat Alok severely because of the incident. Alok has blue marks all over his body.
However, the teacher shared that he punished the student for his wrongdoing. He has accepted that he beat the student in the fit of rage. According to the District Police Office in Doti, Area Police Office Dipayal arrested Mahato.
