INSEC district representative and CIVIS representative have rescued a 13-year-old girl, kept as domestic help at the home of Tap Bahadur Silwal in Lalitpur Sub-metropolis-2 on December 20. The girl had left her employer’s home three days ago saying she was beaten on charge of ‘poor quality of work’ and that a fellow 19-year-old servant Sunil Yadav of Bardiya tried to rape her. The police took the girl and Yadav to Patan Hospital for check up after her verbal complaint of rape attempt. The girl was handed over to CIVIS representative Pradip Dangol and Anjana Ghimire. She says that Yadav tried to rape her after showing her pornography on December 18. Police officer Suresh Bhatta informed that the investigation into the girl’s complaint had begun. Rame
