Unidentified group detonates bomb at Arun hydropower project

An unidentified group has detonated an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) at the construction site of Arun Hydropower project in Chichila Rural Municipality-3 of Sankhuwasabha. Police suspect Netra Bikram Chand-led group was behind the incident.
A generator belonging to the hydropower project has been damaged due to the IED detonation which was discovered to be a pressure cooker bomb. The project site's wall also sustained damage in the incident.
Police are further investigating the incident.
