14-year-old Bishnu Maya Karki, a 6th grader at Laxmi Devkota Secondary School, was found dead on Monday at a tea garden in Kachankabal Rural Municipality. Karki had been missing since Saturday. 

The body was hanging on a shawl from a tree. It is unclear if the girl committed suicide or if she was murdered. The police have not yet found a suicide note and the locals suspect murder.
