Geeta Kumari Sah, 20, of Khopawa VDC in Bara and living in Kathmandu Metropolis-20 has been expelled from house by her family on charge of not brining dowry. The victim filed a complaint at the Women and Children Service Centre Kalimati on January 7 accusing husband Ram Shankar Sah, 24, and his mother Gayatri Sah of beating her daily for not bringing dowry. She had demanding action against them according to the Domestic Violence Act. Ram Shankar had married Geeta on May 29, 2013. The victim is staying with her sister after she was expelled from the house. Inspector Sushil Pradhan of the Centre has said that action would be taken against the culprit.
