Socialist Students Union burns effigy of finance minister

Socialist Students' Union burnt an effigy of Finance Minister Yuvaraj Khatiwada at Prithvi Narayan Campus, Pokhara. The effigy was burnt on Monday in a demonstration at the PN campus gate in protest of a tax increase on petroleum products and imported books, but tax exemption for large business houses.
