Dalit ward chairperson verbally assaulted by office assistant

45-year-old Rajrang Sarki, the ward chairperson of Sannitribeni Rural Municipality-6, has filed a complaint against 39-year-old Ram Prasad Samjyal for verbally assaulting him with ethnic slurs. Rajrang Sarki filed the complaint at the police on March 8. During a press conference organized on March 7, Rajrang further accused Ram Prasad of going to work inebriated and of disturbing the workflow in the office.
