Tek Narayan Rajbanshi, 10, of Anarmani VDC-4 has been admitted in hospital after teacher of Eden Garden Boarding School Sagar Magar beat him with plastic pipe and cane. The boy was gagged and continuously beaten below the lower part of his body. Mother of the boy said that the teacher threatened to kill the boy if the incident was made public. The boy's classmate had informed his guardians about the incident after which they had taken him to Manmohan Memorial Hospital in Birtamod. The injured is being treated at the same hospital. Father of the boy Narayan Rajbanshi filed a complaint against the teacher at area police office Birtamod on February 14. Inspector Bhupendra Giri said medical check up of the boy was conducted and search for the accused was ongoing. Principal of the school Dharma Raj Majhi admitted that the hostel teacher had committed mistake.
