A group of locals has issued death threat to health workers of a health post based in Khajura Rural Municipality-7, Sonpur, Banke after the health post staffs refused the registration of a newly born baby which was born outside. Health Post in-charge Sudip Poudel said the staffs of the health post were in fear after the threat. On May 8, the wife of local resident Rafi Bhat had given birth to a baby in her own home.
The health post staffs had lodged a complaint for their security after the threat. Police Inspector Poshanraj Thapaliya of Area police office, Dhanauli said they were investigating upon the incident.
