Ramesh Dhanuk, the son of Dil Bahadur Dhanuk, has accused Rana Bahadur Kunwar, the mayor of Purchaudi Municipality, of assaulting his father Dil Bahadur Dhanuk, the staff at the area post-office, during a general dispute. The locals have accused the mayor of assaulting the policeman who tried to take the situation under control.  Ironically, the mayor got Dil Bahadur under arrest for indecent behavior. The police are preparing to file a case of indecent behavior against Dhanuk. Dhanuk has also sustained an injury from the mayor's beating.
