Police, on Wednesday afternoon, arrested 30-year-old Durgesh Thakur of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City-21 on the charge of manhandling police. On seeing the police team, a man playing cards in a mango orchard at the same place sustained an injury while fleeing. Locals manhandled the police saying that the man sustained the injury due to the police's beating. In the manhandling, a policeman sustained an injury. The policeman was discharged after the treatment in Nursing Home Nepalgunj.
