Woman arrested on the charge of caste based discrimination in Solukhumbu

Police on Wednesday arrested 31-year-old Sangita Rai of Solududhkunda Municipality-11 on the charge of insulting a person based on caste.
According to police, police arrested Rai on the charge of insulting Min Bahadur Nepali a Dalit man on May 9 while he was walking on the road.
According to the victim, Sangita threw stones at him saying a person from the lower caste can not walk before her.
