55-year-old Sukhdev Mandal of Dakneshwori Municipality-9, Saptari, who has sustained an injury in a wooden plank attack died during his treatment at Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar on Saturday.

Ward Chairman of Dakneshwari Municipality-9 Karnadev Chaudhary said that Sukhdev Mandal was killed in a dispute between the Mehta family and Mandal family over the construction of a house on the road.

The victim's family has accused Mukesh Mahato, Devendra Mahato, Shiv Narayan Mahato, Umesh Mahato, and others of beating Sukhdev.
