Rajesh Bhat, In-charge of Masta Rural Municipality Police Post, has been accused of beating Jhalak Bohora who is staying in quarantine at Janaki Adharbhut Secondary School of Masta Rural Municipality-5.
Bohara said that Bhat did nothing to his other friends, even though they came drinking alcohol, but he beat him for no reason. "Initially, I didn't tell anyone about the beating out of fear of the police, but later I was forced to tell," he said.
Rajesh Bhat said that he beat Bohara for drinking alcohol and had a medical report that he had consumed alcohol.
Meanwhile, Bajhang District Police Office Chief Ganesh Balme said that he had no information about the incident.
