Demonstrations against the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) took place at Maiti Ghar on Tuesday. Students protested by wearing black bands on their hands.

The demonstrators chanted slogans demanding the annulment of MCC. Tensions ran high between police and protesters at the demonstration. A person was taken to Trauma Center for treatment after sustaining a head injury in police baton charge. Police have arrested some demonstrators.
