Meena Devi Sah, 20, of Garuda Bairiya VDC-9 has filed a complaint against her husband Ashok Sah Kalwar, 25, on March 13 accusing him of beating her up for bringing less dowry. Accused Ashok hails from Motihari in India but has a business in Garuda Bairiya. She was married to Ashok a year ago and since then, he was abusing her physically. He beat her up on March 12 evening prompting her to file the complaint the next morning. Women and Children Service Centre in-charge SI Geeta Ranabhat said that both parties had been summoned for discussion.
