6 NSU cadres demonstrating against government arrested from Birgunj

Police on Saturday arrested 6 cadres of Nepal Students Union (NSU), a sister wing of Nepali Congress from Burgunj while they were demonstrating against the government on Saturday. NSU Parsa President Bikash Tiwari, Vice president Sesh Hajara, Manoj Shah, Ramesh Yadav, Avay Karna and Shyam Gupta were arrested. The arrested NSU cadres said they were protesting against the failure of the state and central governments in managing the Covid-19 crisis.
