The Deputy Mayor of Patan Municipality of Baitadi has been accused of attacking a lawyer with her shoes. Deputy Mayor Saraswati Koli, who is also the Coordinator of the Judicial Committee, has been accused of attacking Narayan Dutta Pant, a lawyer of Patan Municipality-3, with shoes in public.

Pant said that he was attacked while he was playing the role of mediator in drinking water and other disputed issues of Patan-3. 

Meanwhile, Deputy Mayor Koli has responded that the allegation that she hit with the shoes is baseless. She said that she took off her shoes when the so-called lawyer was talking about caste and capacity but did not hit him.
