Woman married to dalit man obstructed from performing father's funeral rites

29-year-old Anju Puri Darnal of Kerabari Rural Municipality-6 Amritchowk has been obstructed from participating in the funeral rite of her father by her family citing her inter-caste marriage with a man of Bishokarma caste. She has been discriminated on the basis of caste by her own family and was forced to perform her father's rites separately.
