Cadres of Janata Samajwadi staged a demonstration in Birgunj on Saturday protesting against the Citizenship Act Amendment Bill proposed by the government which proposes a waiting period of 7 years for awarding Nepali citizenship to foreigner woman married to Nepali man. The protestors stated that the proposal was injustice towards women.
