Police have arrested 11 people, including Swagat Nepal, coordinator of the Independent National Campaign Nepal, who gathered to protest against the MCC. 

Nepal has confirmed that the police took them under control from Maitighar. Nepal wrote on Facebook, "While the protest against the MCC was just started, I along with Krishna Prasai, In-charge of the Central Literary Arts Department, Sindhupalchok Coordinator Aageli Maila, Santosh Adhikari, Coordinator of the Organization Department, Navin Mainali, and Sabyata Nepal got arrested."

The campaign had planned to protest by writing 'Reject MCC' on the road today after drawing blood from its own body. Police arrested them before the protest got started.
