Federation of Nepali Journalists(FNJ), Jajarkot condemned the incident of threatening and abusing the executive editor of Bherimalika Daily, Resham Bahadur Khadka by Dipendra Shahi, former president of National Youth Federation Nepal, Jajarkot on July 9 on the basis of news written by him. He was asked to apologize for the news but when he refused he was manhandled in Santi Chautara, Khalanga.
The federation has issued a joint statement demanding action against those who tried to physically attack the journalists, to take legal action if they disagree with the news and refrain from threatening and abusing journalists.
