On July 16, police arrested 28-year-old Narayan DC and 23-year-old Chudamani Oli of Raptisonari Rural Municipality 2 on the charge of injuring a 25-year-old man of Dhakeri in Raptisonari Rural Municipality-9 with a sharp weapon. A group of 22 persons along with the accused from Khairi Khola of Raptisonari Rural Municipality 2 reportedly attacked the man with a khukuri on the issue sand extraction from the river. The injured have been referred to Grandi Hospital, Kathmandu for further treatment while the police are searching for other absconding persons involved in the incident.
