Locals protest after boundary pillar near Sita cave found removed in Thori

After Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli called Thori of Parsa the Ram's birthplace, the border post near Sita Cave in Thori of Parsa has been removed by unidentified group. Locals have reached the border area to protest after the border pillar was found to have been removed on Saturday afternoon. There is a boundary pillar number 35 near Sita Cave in Thori village municipality-2. The chairman of Thori village, Padam Lal Shrestha said that the border post was in good condition till 12 noon, but it was found to be uprooted after 4 pm. From 9 am on Saturday, Sita Cave was worshipped as Ram Janmabhoomi. Village Municipality Chairman Shrestha said that the boundary pillar, which was in good condition in the morning, was uprooted and thrown away in the afternoon. He says it was thrown five meters far way. Locals of Nepal and India have reached the border area to protest after the border pillar was found thrown.
