32-year-old journalist Nandakesh Adhikari, member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) of Shubha Kalika Rural Municipality Ward-5 has lodged a complaint at the District Police Office, Kalikot, against 45-year-old Ward Chair Khadananda Chaulagain alleging that he was given death threats over the phone on July 23.

FNJ has issued a statement on July 26 drawing attention to the incident and demanded the accused to withdraw his irresponsible statement and create a conducive environment for journalists. 

However. the accused has denied the allegation against him.
