Parbat/ April 15 Rajesh Nepali, 16, of Pang VDC-2 who was injured in a clash between two caste groups of Dalit community has died on April 16 on the way to Manipal hospital. The clash ensued between the two castes of Dalit of Kunachaur, Pang VDC-2 on April 4 on the issue of untouchability. The clash started after some people from Kami community, considered highest in intra-dalit hierarchy refused to eat food in a feast saying it was touched by lower caste group- Sarki. The feast was organized at the sacred thread ceremony of Ram Krishna BK, son of Chandra Bahadur BK. More than 15 people were injured in the clash. An FIR has been lodged by the family of the deceased against Shankar BK, 16, Bishnu BK, 21 and Shankar SK, 28, at District Police Office, said Inspector Jagat Bandhu Pokharel.
