According to the Area Police Office, Haripur, 18-year-old Manisha Kumari Chaudhary, daughter of Bhupnarayan Chaudhary of Majurwa has died in a suspicious circumstance in Haripur municipality of Sarlahi district.
Bikram Shah, Inspector at the Area Police Office said the condition of the body showed that the girl was murdered as there was a trace of rope in her neck and her throat has been cut slightly. Quoting the deceased girl's family, inspector Shah said, the girl was found in critical condition on Sunday morning by her family and died after some time.
Further police investigation is underway after the body was sent to the district hospital, Malangwa for postmortem.
