The prohibited Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand set fire to an excavator in Nuwakot. The excavator was operated by Rajendra Tamang of Belkotgadhi Municipality-13.  Tamang said his excavator was set on fire by an unidentified group last night. The damage worth 2 million  rupees was caused by the arson.


On the spot the group has issued a statement of threat to Mayor Asha Tamang  accusing he had illegally excavated sand from the land occupied them two years ago, done immoral activities in the society, spied against the party and given unnecessary pain to the people. The party had also accused the chairman had involved in setting fire to the municipality office on April 20  to cover up his irregularities.
