Youths of dalit slum beaten in Kailali

Youths of Dalit slum have been beaten by a group of non-Dalits on Saturday night.
Five persons were injured in the beating. Sunil BK, Bhim BK, Karan BK, Anil BK and Nawaraj BK of the slum were injured in the beating by non-Dalit youths. They have been referred to Nepalgunj Hospital from Ghodaghodi Hospital. The head, legs and various parts of the body have serious injuries.
A group of locals Khemraj Bam, Lalit Bhandari, Dal Bahadur Bhandari, Dev Bahadur Bhandari, Nup Bhandari and Gopi Saund and Dummer Saund had earlier entered the Dalit slum and tried to attack using vulgar words on the basis of ethnicity.
