Woman assaulted on witchcraft allegation in Nepalgunj

A 57-year-old woman from Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan city-2 has filed a complaint at the District Police Office on August 31 against 28-year-old Majuna Khatun and 28-year-old Jamuna Khatun of the same place for allegedly beating her alleging her of witchcraft on August 22.
The victim has been examined at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj on August 31.
According to DSP Subash Khadka, the incident is being investigated and the assaultors will be arrested after receiving an arrest warrant from the court.
