Senior reporter of Rastriya Samachar Samiti Rajaram Karki has sustained injury after being attacked by a person in Kabhrepalanchok. Karki was attacked by Uddab Karki of Suryabinayak Municipality-10, Bhaktapur. Karki has sustained a serious injury in his head.  Karki’s treatment is undergoing at Dhulikhel Hospital, Kabhrepalanchowk.

The Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) Kavre district chapter and Press Union had condemned the attack through a press release and demanded immediate arrest of Uddab Karki and take stern action against him. FNJ also demanded  compensation for Karki from the perpetrator .
