Prakash Tamatta, 17, of Chafamadau in Ramaroshan Rural municipality-2 has accused Ram Bahadur Rawal, 34, Dirgha Rawal, 26, Dilu Rawal, 19, Suresh Rawal, 27, Vinay Rawal, 21 and Gokul Rawal, 26 of caste-based discrimination. A complaint has been lodged at the District Police Office, Achham against the accused.

According to the victim’s mother Kalawati Tamatta, Prakash Tamatta has lodged a complaint against six people after he was beaten by them on August 28, 2020. He was beaten after they got the information about the romantic relationship between him and Keshari Rawal, 15.

Along with Prakash, his family members were also insulted publicly after which the victim side filed a complaint about justice and safety.

Keshari Rawal was found hanging from a tree about 400 meters away from her house on August 29.

Postmortem of the body was conducted on August 30 at the District Hospital.
