People's representative threatened to cut off the hands and tongue of TV journalist Lalan Mandal of News 24 television for broadcasting and publishing the news about the mischief of the crusher mafia (Sumit Sand Processing Industry) that illegally demolished the embankment to excavate the river in Kisan Nagar, Bardibas Municipality-6 of Mahottari. 

After the news, Falgun Susling Magar, Ward Chairman of Bardibas Municipality-7, posted a status on Facebook where a person by the name of Babu Chaulaga  commented saying to cut off journalist's hand and tongue. And in the reply, Magar passed an objectionable comment that he is ready to fight for that. Journalists  became clear that he can do anything in a dictatorial style.

On the same issue, questions were raised against such violence promotion blaming the collusion of the people's representatives with the crusher mafia.
