On September 17, as a part of the second phase of the agitation announced by the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Kailali, the journalists staged a sit-in at the entrance of the District Administration Office, Kailali with black bands on their arms and heads, demanding action against those who entered the media house and assaulted the journalist.
Addressing a corner meeting organized after the sit-in, the president of the Federation of Nepali journalists, Kailali, Jagat Saud demanded action against those who entered the media house and assaulted the journalist.
According to the head of the Annapurna Post's Far West Bureau Shivaraj Bhatt, the incident is mysterious as the police did not arrest the person who made the video live on the Facebook.
The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), led by Kailali, continued its agitation demanding arrest and action against those involved in the attack. Himal Joshi, treasurer of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Kailali, said that a sit-in and demonstration would be held in front of the district administration office tomorrow.
