Nawalparasi/May 13 District Court of Nawalparasi has remanded a 40-year-old Tharka Bahadur Saru Magar of Ratanpur VDC-6 in custody on May 11 on charge of raping a 15-year-old girl. He was arrested after the complaint was lodged by the victim against him on April 20 accusing him of raping her in many other occasions in the past and impregnating her. The accused was arrested by the police on April 21. After the investigation, a single bench of district judge Bishnu Prasad Koirala gave his verdict to remand him in custody.
