Khotang/May 14 Man Kumari Shreshta, 30, of Jalapa VDC-2 has filed a complaint of polygamy against her husband Ram Kumar Shrestha at the District Police Office on May 14. According to Man Kumari, Ram Kumar married Rama Shrestha of same VDC as his second wife on April 12. She said that she was married to Ram Kumar 10 years ago according to social traditions and that they have two children. In her complaint, the victim stated that her husband does not take care of her and their children and inflicts mental torture upon her. ASI Manoj Yadav of the DPO said that the police post Jalapa has been asked to summon the accused.
