An ambulance has been vandalized at Masta Rural Municipality of Bajhang District on Sunday. The driver of the Nawaraj Khadka said the ambulance was vandalized by the relatives of Jhigidevi Kathayat (53), a patient of Asthma from Masta Rural Municipality-5, Kinadi, died on the way to Nepalgunj. According to the Khadka, the relatives of the deceased also abused and threatened him.
The driver had filed a case of vandalism and misbehaviour of public transport in at the District Police Office on September 28. DPO Information Officer Lokendra Singh Karki said they have arrested Chakra Bohora from Chainpur town on a charge of involvement in vandalizing the ambulance and searching for others involved.
